Antique hand-colored Civil War battle map by Bien and published by the US War Department. Shown on this map is the field where the Battle of Shiloh, also known as the Battle of Pittsburg Landing, took place in southwestern Tennessee. This map does not have a printed date but is circa 1867. Very good restored condition. This map has been archivally cleaned, deacidified, and rebacked. It has a closed tear on the right side. Measures approx. 17.5 x 24.5 inches to the neatline. ***SOLD***
