Antique travel book published by the Delaware & Hudson Company in 1922 (first edition). This detailed book is packed full of information that would be useful to a traveler in the early 1920s. A small map on the back of the title page shows the route of the Delaware and Hudson Company railroad and connections- from Wilkes-Barre PA to Montreal with stops in Saratoga Springs, Lake George, along Lake Champlain and a loop in the Adirondacks. The book includes many photographs with descriptions of places to stay, things to do, camps for children, nature scenes, and more. At the back of the book is a fold-out map of Lake Champlain and Lake George with plentiful historical notations and scenes in printed color. Map could be removed from the book for framing but the back cover might have to be removed as well. Book measures approx. 7.25 x 4 inches and map measures approx. 12 x 7 inches. Very good antique condition. Book cover has some wear. Some pages have minor foxing. Map has folds as issued.
