Maker: The Family Magazine.

Antique uncolored print of the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. The text below and on the reverse is about West Point, including the verses "Bright are the memories linked with thee, Boast of a glory-hallowed land! Hope of the valiant and the free, Home of their youthful soldier band." From the Family Magazine, published in either 1839 or 1843 (there is some ambiguity as to which date is correct). Very good antique condition with light toning, text from reverse side visible. Print measures approximately 3.75 x 5.5 inches to the border line, sheet measures 10.5 x 6.5 inches.
