Antique railroad map showing the Boston and Maine Railroad by Rand Avery Supply Co., published in Down East Latch Strings in 1887. This map covers the railroad's route from Worcester and Boston MA to North Conway NH and Portland ME. Boston and Maine Railroad is in thick black lines with all stops indicated, connecting railroads are in thinner lines. Original printed color. Decorative title in the upper right and inset map of the Boston and North Shore area at bottom. Includes Lake Winnipesaukee, part of the White Mountains, other lakes, rivers, etc. With folds as issued. Very good antique condition with mild toning, minor wear at edges and fold intersections. On light weight paper that is quite fragile. Measures approx. 19.75 x 13 inches to the neatline.
