Maker: Rand Avery Supply Co.
Printed color folding map of the North-Eastern US and Canadian border featuring the R,W,&O railroad. Published circa 1890 by Rand Avery Supply Co. This map shows the rail road routes with stops and towns from Nova Scotia to St Louis, Missouri and from Philadelphia to Quebec. Includes St Andrews, Bar Harbor, Portland, Boston, New York, Long Island, Bangor, Buffalo, Montreal, Cincinnati, Chicago, the Great Lakes, Ottawa, the Adirondack, Catskill, Green, and White Mountains. This map has an interesting perspective because most of it is very normal until you reach the top, where it becomes stretched and rolls outward to the horizon line, with Quebec sitting atop the horizon. Very good antique condition, folded as issued. Photo was taken with the map under plastic and some glare may appear that is not part of the map itself. Approx. 8 x 22.5 inches.
