Antique hand colored map of the United States in 1875, from the Middlesex (Massachusetts) County Atlas, by Beers & Co., showing state boundaries at a time when Oklahoma was still Indian Territory, the Dakotas were one state, and Seward's Folly, otherwise known as Alaska, was relatively newly purchased from the Russians; very good condition with minor wear and tear at the paper edges. Measures approx. 13 x21.5 inches to the neatline.
