Antique hand colored map, from Anthony Finley's "A New General Atlas, Comprising a Complete Set of Maps, representing Grand Divisions of the Globe, Together with the Several Empires, Kingdoms, and States in the World; Compiled from the Best Authorities, and corrected by the Most Recent Discoveries", 1832. This map includes Michigan Territory, North West Territory, a large Missouri Territory as well as the relatively new state of Missouri, and Arkansas Territory. Maine has it's taller shape from before the Aroostook War. Very good overall antique condition with some toning and foxing, as well as a large stain at the upper outer edge. Measures approximately 11.25 x 8.75 inches.
