1855
Maker: Appleton
Antique steel engraving print published in The Scenery of The United States by D. Appleton and Co, 1855, which shows a historic view of present-day Minnehaha Falls, a waterfall in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Very good antique condition with mild toning of the paper overall and some minor soiling at the outer edges of the paper. Page measures approximately 7.75" x 11" overall. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
