1839

Antique print showing a view of the Hudson River near Caldwells Landing (now called Jones Point) with various types of ships in the foreground and the lighthouse in the distance. Published in American Scenery Volume 2, by George Virtue, 1839. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning of the paper and a few spots of foxing/soiling. This print seems to have been cleaned.  Page measures approximately 8.5" x 10.75" overall. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
