Antique hand-colored map, from S. Augustus Mitchell's "A New Universal Atlas, Containing Maps of the Various Empires, Kingdoms, States and Republics of the World, With a Special Map of Each of the United States, Plans of Cities, etc.", 1849. Inset maps of Hartford and Vicinity and New Haven and Vicinity. Very good overall antique condition with minor toning, some small tears at paper edges. A previous owner added some pen marks. Measures approx. 16 x 13 inches to the neatline.
