Antique hand-colored map, from Mitchell's "New Universal Atlas, Containing Maps of the Various Empires, Kingdoms, States and Republics of the World, With a Special Map of Each of the United States, Plans of Cities, etc.", 1850. These decorative maps from the 1800's are hand-colored by counties. Vibrant original color. Very good overall antique condition with some toning. A previous owner seems to have marked all of the railroads in orange. Measures approx. 16 x 13 inches to outer border.
