Antique steel engraving print published in The Scenery of The United States by D. Appleton and Co, 1855, which shows a view of the Silver Cascade, a waterfall on the southwestern side of Mount Jackson, located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Good to very good antique condition with mild toning of the paper overall and some minor foxing/staining at the lower right of the image. Page measures approximately 7.75" x 11" overall. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
