Antique print showing a scene of people and boats gathering along the New York side of the Niagara River, with Brock's Monument in Canada visible in the distance. Published in American Scenery Volume 2, by George Virtue, 1839. Good overall antique condition with mild toning of the paper and a few spots of heavy foxing/soiling. Page measures approximately 8.5" x 10.75" overall. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
