Genuine Antique Hand-Colored Map

Antique hand-colored map of North Carolina and South Carolina, by Johnson & Browning, 1862. Shows railroads, canals, and some topographical detail. Includes two engraved illustrations: Chimney Rocks and the French Broad River, Table Mountain, and an inset Plan of Charleston Vicinity & Harbor. Good antique condition with toning, some tears at the edges especially the bottom, and some foxing/ spotting. Measures approximately 17.25" x 24" to the outer edge of the decorative border.
