Six Antique hand colored maps made in 1887 by Colton, The larger map in the upper right is Showing the Area, Acquisition, and Transfer of Territory, with inset of Alaska, and 5 Plans Showing the Divisions existing in the Western Portion of the United States in 1840, in 1850, 1855, 1860, and 1865. Fair antique condition, light water damage mostly outside border, small tears at bottom edge, paper is slightly wavy and toned overall, approx. 11.75 x 15 inches.
