Antique hand-colored map of the state of Oregon and the Washington Territory as they were at the time of publishing (before portions of the Washington Territory were ceded to Nebraska and Idaho in 1861 and 1863.) Published by Johnson and Browning, 1861. Map features a decorative border and includes topographical details, as well as the locations of Indian Settlements, forts, established and proposed railroads, etc. Good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, areas of minor foxing, and some minor stains that are mostly in the margin. Measures approximately 12.5" x 16.5" (H x W) to the outer edge of the decorative border.
