Antique woodcut engraving of the Valley of Yellowstone and Yellowstone River, Wyoming, from William Cullen Bryant's classic 1872 work, "Picturesque America." Reverse of page includes black and white engraving of "Indian Hut." Recent hand-coloring. This piece measures 7.5 x 6.5 inches with title and 6.5 x 6.5 without title and is in very good overall antique condition.  Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
