Full title: Plate 120. March Routes of Army of the Tennessee from Savannah, GA. to Columbia, SC., 1865 / Territory and Military Department of Utah, 1860. Antique lithograph by Julius Bien & Co published in the Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies published under the direction of the Hon. Daniel S. Lamont, Secretary of War, 1894. The atlas was published as a companion piece to the Official Records of the American Civil War. It contains maps and other images derived from materials generated by both Union and Confederate military personnel during the American Civil War. The atlas was printed in 35 parts between 1891 and 1895. Printed color indicates topography and Union or Confederate locations. This map includes California, Nevada, Utah, and parts of Colorado and New Mexico. The southern tip of Nevada was still part of New Mexico and there are two different boundary lines between Nevada and Utah. Very good condition with mild image transfer, a few minor spots/stains and a touch of foxing, and some staining and wear to the paper edges. Some damage and paper loss in top and bottom margin. Mild vertical folds that are barely noticeable. Measures approx. 16 x 27 inches to the outer border lines.
