1874
Maker: Mitchell.
Antique hand colored map from Mitchell's 1874 New General Atlas showing counties, major towns, water bodies, land and coastal features, and railroads. This map appears similar to the 1866 version, however there is a difference noticeable in the meeting place of the borders of Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, although the states are still not quite the shape we know them to be today. Features Mitchell's distinct and decorative border. This map is in very good antique condition with minimal overall toning and a minor spot in the upper right margin. It measures approximately 13.5 x 11 inches.
