Antique uncolored map of the surveys of Wisconsin and Minnesota, published by the US Government in 1856. Shows Native American Indian lands and reservations, rivers, lakes, the cities of Mankato and St Paul when they were just settlements, etc.  Good antique condition, with folds as issued, light toning along the folds, a seam separation at bottom (archivally repaired), and some minor spots. Approx. 17.25 x 20.5 inches to the neatline.
