Antique printed color pictorial map of the world that was apparently a folder, 1953. This colorful map shows the routes of Air France flights with a highly decorative border that features representations of people, plants, and animals from various parts of the world. It has flaps that fold to create pockets, presumably to hold a traveler's tickets and other travel papers after booking their flight. The original map was by Lucien Boucher. Very good condition with a center fold as issued, and folded flaps that can be hidden when framed. Slight wear along the folds. Map is approx. 10.5 x 18 inches, not including the side flaps.
