Antique map of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres by Tardieu, from Histoire Naturelle, Generale et Particuliere, Des Mineraux by Leclerc de Buffon, c. 1795. An interesting view of the world as it was known at the end of the 18th century, with parts of Australia and North America still unknown. There is no representation of Antarctica on this map. Good antique condition with image transfer (aka ghosting) and a few tiny spots. With folds as issued. Measures approx. 9.75 x 15.75 inches to the paper edges.
