Antique map from Black's General Atlas published by Adam and Charles Black in 1841. Engraved by Sydney Hall. At this time there was still little known to Europeans about Antarctica or the interior of Africa. With original hand-coloring. Very good antique condition with some minor spots/stains consistent with age. Measures approx. 12.25 x 17.5 inches to the paper edges.
