Antique map of the World from Stieler's Hand-Atlas, c. 1889. This map is colored by country, colony, or "protected area" so it shows the areas around the world controlled by Spain, England, the Netherlands etc. Small maps at the bottom are maps of wind currents, telegraph lines, and ocean currents. Text in German. Very good overall antique condition with very mild foxing and toning at paper edges. Paper is fragile. Measures approx. 13 x 16 inches to the neatlines.
