Antique printed color World War 2 map of a polar view of the world, "showing the line-up and the strategic stakes in this first global war." Includes notes at the side of the map, discussing the Atlantic Bridge and the Pacific Vastness. Map is colored (with a reference) to show Allied Powers, areas occupied by Allies, Pro-Ally Neutrals, Neutrals, Pro-Axis Neutrals, Axis Powers, and areas occupied by Axis Powers. Map notes Allied supply routes. Published as a supplement to Fortune Magazine, 1942. With folds, as issued. Good overall antique condition with some mild toning of the paper, wear along the folds, seam separation at the intersection of folds at the right side, minor separation along the fold at the right edge of the paper, and two holes in the paper at the bottom right of the map. Measures approximately 21.25" x 26.75" (H x W) in its entirety. (Map measures approx. 21.25" x 22.5" without text at right.)
