Antique celestial print showing a portion of the solar system with the sun at center, and including the orbits of the planets, with an illustration of a medieval city at the lower half. This is the extent of the known solar system at the time- Uranus was discovered in 1781, and Neptune in 1846. The earth is shown with the moon orbiting and Jupiter is shown with four moons (the four discovered by Gallileo- many more have been found since the 1890s). Very good overall antique condition. Image measures approximately 5.75" x 4" (H x W) to the neatline. Could be hand-colored by our professional colorist for an additional $35 (see CEL106HC for an example of coloring)
