This rare and collectible map is hand-colored showing a unique moment in the history of the continent, including a blank Pacific coastline north of California and New Albion and labeled Parts Unknown; Quivira is labeled on the edge of the unknown; the Southern colonies extend to the Mississippi River. Decorative title cartouche at upper right. Very good condition with overall even toning, some tiny spots. Matted. Measures approx. 7.5" x 11.7" inches.
