Antique hand-colored map from Mitchell's 1885 New General Atlas. Includes a facsimilie of the first money coined by the United States. With information about the settlement of the colonies, populations in 1776, and important battles of the Revolutionary War. Shows political boundaries, cities, water bodies, as well as land features. This map is in very good antique condition with minor overall toning. Some wear at the paper edges. Paper is a bit fragile. It measures approximately 11.5 x 13.75 inches to the outer neatline.
