Antique lithograph print showing various views and curiosities. It was printed in Recueil des Cartes et des Vues du Voyage en Amerique en Italie en Sicile et en Egypte fait pendant les annees 1816, 1817, 1818 et 1819, which translates to Collection of Maps and Views of the Voyage to America, Italy, Sicily and Egypt made during the years 1816, 1817, 1818 and 1819. The scenes include "Tomb on the banks of the Ohio River," View of the Mississippi River," "Block-house on Lake Erie," a female opossum, and a spoon and mask of the native peoples. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning of the paper throughout, and a few spots of very minor foxing/soiling. Measures approximately 14" x 10.5" to the paper edges.
Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
