Antique hand-colored map, from S. Augustus Mitchell's "A New Universal Atlas, Containing Maps of the Various Empires, Kingdoms, States and Republics of the World, With a Special Map of Each of the United States, Plans of Cities, etc.", 1849. At bottom is a profile of the  Ohio Canal. List of Steamboat Routes at top. Very good overall antique condition with minor toning, mild stains, some small tears at paper edges. A previous owner added some pencil marks. Measures approx. 16 x 13 inches to the neatline.
