Antique map of part of the west coast of the US, part of a 3 sheet set, by the US Coast Survey, 1851. This map covers the coast from the Cape Mendocino to Monterey and includes San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Point Arena, and more. With sailing directions and recognition profiles of Cape Mendocino, the Entrance to San Francisco Bay, and Point Pinos. Very good restored condition - cleaned and backed on light-weight paper. Some signs of age still visible, including small spots and the original folds. Approx. 19.5 x 17.5 inches to the neatline.
