Antique hand colored map of Maine by GW & CB Colton, copyright 1855 but from a book published later, probably 1869. The printers likely used the 1855 printing plate and added dotted lines and names for drainage area by major rivers, which are also identified by color. With folds as issued. Very good condition with some wear at paper edges. Measures approx. 15.5 x 12.75 inches to outer edges of decorative border.
