Antique coast survey chart of Massachusetts Bay from Cape Cod to Cape Ann, with Provincetown, Plymouth, Scituate Light, Minot's Ledge, Boston, Nahant Hotel, Salem, Gloucester, and more. Hand-colored by a local professional colorist. This chart shows soundings and bathymetric data. This chart would not have been used for sailing but may have been used as a precursor to the publication of a nautical sailing chart.  Very good overall antique condition with folds as issued, and a few tiny spots. Measures approx. 8 1/2"h x 8" w to the neatline.
