Antique bird's eye view map of Boston, a double page engraving from Ballou's Pictorial Drawing-Room Companion (formerly Gleason's), the headquarters of which can be seen dead-center. View is from the perspective of corner of Beacon and Park Streets, including views of Boston Common, Granary Burying Ground, and Cathedral Church of St. Paul. Good condition overall, with a few spots and a small tear at bottom. Measures approx. 14 x 20.5 inches. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
