Antique print showing a view (facing North, from Owl's Head) of Lake Memphremagog (Vermont). Image is in very good condition with some mild toning of the paper. Recent hand-coloring. From William Cullen Bryant's classic 1872 work, "Picturesque America." Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned. Image measures approximately 9.25" x 6.25".
