Antique map from the Atlas of Bergen Co. New Jersey, 1876, by Walker and Pease. Double-sided page with centerfold map of Saddle River Valley, Allendale (Hohokus Township), and Oakland (Franklin Township) maps; Wortendyke and Franklin Townships on reverse. Includes property owners' names. Very good overall antique condition with minor signs of age such as mild toning and slight spots/stains. Approximately 16 x 26 inches.
From Wikipedia: Franklin Township was subdivided with the creation of Midland Park (September 6, 1894), Oakland (April 8, 1902) and Franklin Lakes (seceded March 11, 1922). After Franklin Lakes was established, Franklin Township consisted only of the area known locally as Wyckoff. On November 2, 1926, residents voted to change the name from Franklin Township to become the Township of Wyckoff.
