Genuine Antique Print
1884
Maker: Bartlett
Antique steel engraving print by Bartlett, 1884, shows a view of the Pennsylvania Railroad Bridge over the Columbia River between Columbia and Wrightsville. The original bridge which stood at this location was destroyed in 1832 by a thick layer of ice. Good condition, with a brown stain in the lower right of the image that is not too noticeable. Could be colored by our professional colorist for an additional $50. Measures approximately 4.75 x 7.5 inches to the image edges and 9.5 x 12.5 to the paper edges. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire effect- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the engraved print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
