Genuine Antique Map

1889

Maker: Walker.

Antique double-sided page from the Atlas of Middlesex County, Massachusetts, 1889, by Walker. The larger centerfold shows the City of Newton, and the smaller versos are the towns of Waltham, Watertown, and Newton on one side and the towns of Weston and Wayland on the other side. Shows buildings with property owners' names; densely populated areas are enlarged separately. Walker also produced specific atlases for cities like Newton, which is why the areas are not enlarged in this atlas. Fair to good overall antique condition, with a separation at center fold that can be repaired, and minor toning at paper edges. Centerfold map measures approx. 16 x 18 inches to the neatline, verso maps are approx. 16 x 12. Priced as-is.
