Maker: Bromley

Antique map of part of the city of Boston, from the Atlas of the City of Boston, Boston Proper and Roxbury by George W. and Walter S. Bromley, G.W. Bromley & Co., 1890. This map shows the Common and public garden with their paths and ponds. The Garden was designed by George F. Meacham. Colored by building material (pink is brick, yellow is wood, grey/purple is stone) and with owners at the time labeled. Good antique condition with mild toning, some minor wear and stains at the edges and some small spots. Tear at top repaired with archival tape. Approx. 20 x 30 inches to the neatline.
