Antique map of part Downtown Boston, from the Atlas of the City of Boston, Boston Proper and Roxbury by George W. and Walter S. Bromley, G.W. Bromley & Co., 1890. Faneuil Hall is at the top, Fort Hill Square appears to be a green on this map but is now just an intersection, and the wharves including Central Wharf, India Wharf, and Rowes Wharf, were very actively in use at this time. Colored by building material (pink is brick, yellow is wood, grey/purple is stone) and with owners at the time labeled. Fair to good antique condition with mild toning, wear and stains at the edges including water stains, and some small spots. Priced as is. Approx. 20 x 30 inches to the neatline.
