Maker: British Admiralty.
Antique nautical chart of Boston Harbour Massachusetts from the United States Survey, 1857 with large corrections to 1882 and small corrections to 1897 by the Hydrographic Office of the British Admiralty. This unusual Boston Harbor chart shows the neck with the fill recently added, includes 6 recognition profiles, good coastline topographic detail along with navigational depth information. It covers the area from Nahant to Cohasset and Scituate Harbors, and includes nice representation of Charlestown, East Boston, Cambridge, and Roxbury. Has minor annotations from use. Measures about 26" x 39" to the neatline. Very good condition with some repaired tears at the paper edges and some vertical folds with the center fold being quite strong. Should flatten nicely. **NOTE- because this map requires extra insurance for shipping, an additional charge will appear on your card after your original purchase.
