Antique printed color map of the Oklahoma and Indian Territories from the Indexed Atlas of the World by Rand McNally, 1902. This was published five years before the two territories were combined and granted statehood as Oklahoma. Clearly indicates the Native American Indian Nations in the Indian Territory. Inset shows the Western Portion of Oklahoma. This is a fascinating look at the state during a historic moment in its development. Very good condition with mild toning and some small tears at the paper edges. Measures approx. 19 x 26 inches to the neatline.
