Genuine Antique Bird's Eye View Map

Antique bird's eye view of Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire, showing all major points of interest, islands, mountains, and steamer routes. This map was made by George H. Walker & Co. circa 1905 (it has a 1903 copyright, however based on the coloring we believe it was published slightly later, but before 1909, at which point he copyrighted the map again and all editions from then on included the 1909 copyright). Key at bottom corresponds to numbered locations on the map. Includes Mount Washington. This was published as a folding map and the paper jacket is attached and can be folded back for framing. Very good overall antique condition, with mild toning, and some small pin holes at the fold intersections. Measures approx. 15.75 x 27.25 inches to the image border and 18.75 x 27.5 inches to the sheet edges.
