Antique printed color map of the coast of New Jersey, by C.C. Vermeule, published to accompany the report of H.B. Kummel in the "Geological Survey of New Jersey Annual Report of the State Geologist For the Year 1907", published 1908. Part of a set of four maps: this is sheet 3. Includes Little Egg Harbor, Great Bay, Tuckers Beach, Beach Haven, Surf City, Manahawken, Barnegat City, part of Barnegat Bay, and more. At the bottom is a section profile, showing the water depth along the adopted route. Overall good to very good antique condition with some minor signs of age, some seam separation and roughing of the outer edges, as well as a stain caused by non-archival tape that was used to repair some seam separation (now repaired with archival materials.) Measures approx. 7.5 x 27.5 inches to the neatline and approx. 8.5 x 28 inches to the paper edges. Search NJE773 on our website for all sheets.
