Antique pictorial map of Marblehead MA Massachusetts, by Marian M. Brown, approved by the Marblehead Historical Society, printed by the Tudor Press, and copyrighted by Nutting's Marblehead, 1929. This handsome map features illustrations of local industries and historical events in the border, including "Buying the Town from the Naumkeag Indians" and "General Laffayette Arriving at Lee Mansion." Includes illustrated buildings in the map and ships on the waters. This was one of several maps made to commemorate the town's 300th year. Handsome printed color. Framed- the framing may not be archival. Very good condition with mild toning. Measures approx. 20 x 20 inches to the outer edges of the frame.
