Antique pictorial map of Maine from 1935, with illustrations of ships, buildings, wildlife, historical figures, recreational activities, etc., and bordered by a charming illustrated border of canoes, golfers, camping, and more. By M.C. Linscott. On the verso is a highway map of Maine. Original printed color. Very good condition, with some minor stains on the highway map side and one in the top margin of the pictorial map. Some slight wear along the folds. Folds as issued. Map on verso can be seen slightly through the paper- this can be reduced by backing with a dark colored mat when framing. Map measures approx. 26.5 x 18.5 inches to the outside of the decorative border, sheet 28 x 20 inches.
