Antique printed color pictorial map of Cape Cod published by the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce in 1969. This map is both handsome and functional. It describes six tours of the Cape with itinerary for each. The map features the main roads , the many towns and villages, beaches, National Seashore, lighthouses, and steamships. With illustrations of popular pastimes. Upon closer inspection, one realizes that the green is applied slightly differently in different sections to indicate the area covered in each tour. Inset map of the vicinity of Cape Cod to illustrate travel directions. The text on the left side could be folded under or covered with a mat when framing. Very good condition with folds as issued, possibly some very minor toning or spots. Approx. 17.25 x 22 inches.
