Antique map of the West Indies, including Central America, the Caribbean with Hispaniola, Cuba, the Bahamas and Virgin Islands, Santo Domingo, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Tobago, St. Vincent's, Grenada, etc. Engraved by W. Baker and published in Mathew Carey's American Edition of Guthrie's Geography Improved, 1796. Includes East and West Florida, Mexico or New Spain, and the Texas coast labeled New Leon. Good to very good restored condition, this map has been cleaned and backed but retains signs of age including some mild spots and stains, and some repaired tears. Measures approx. 11 x 15.75 inches to the neatline.
