Black and white engraved antique Nautical Chart of the North Sea and adjacent waterways, from Nicolas Tindal's continuation of Rapin de Thoyras "The History of England", vol. III, London, 1745. The chart is by R. W. Seale in the "portalano" style, emphasizing coastal features. Includes parts of England, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and all of Denmark. Very good overall antique condition with slight image transfer (ghosting). With folds as issued. This map was printed slightly askew on the paper and therefore the margins are not equal all the way round- this should not be an issue when framing, although the margin is tight in the upper right. Approx. 118.5 x 14.75 inches to the neatline.
