Antique black and white map of the Northeast part of Germany, drawn by Emanuel Bowen, and published in Nicholas Tindal's continuation of Rapin de Thoyras, "The History of England", vol. III, c. 1745. Shows provinces, rivers and water bodies, some roads and landforms, major cities and towns, etc. Includes a decorative cartouche with coat of arms, as well as a compass rose. Visible plate mark. With folds, as issued. Good to Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, areas of minor foxing, some image overlay, and some very minor roughing/tears at the outer edges of the paper. Measures approximately 13.5" x 16.5" (H x W) to the neatline.
